Strong earthquake cause enormous calamity to the people of every countries, building in earthquake destroy and collapse in a large amount, it is the immediate cause to cause the calamity. How is it to ensure the safety of structure to the maximum extent under strong shock function, do not cause people's lives and properties to suffer great losses , all these are a realistic and great problem that structure engineers and technicians face. This text bring limit location protective device to separate the system of shaking for the research object with what test draw, carry on the theory and analyse , have set up the corresponding calculation model; The whole system is that a material is non-linear, geometry is non-linear with contacting non- linearly in the integrative strong non-linear motive force question, find out the effective algorithm solving strong non-linear motive force while analysing. Is it bring limit location protective device through shake non-linear earthquake of structure react procedure of analysing to work out on the basis of model set up. By contrast, the author receives some beneficial conclusions.The resultsshowed that:(l) the models used by author and the analysis are useful and can be practiced.(2)After using isolation technology the structure's period, earthquake response, base shear force and acceleration are all decreased markedly and the horizontal displacement focuses on isolation layer.(3)Under frequent earthquake action, the shear force ratio between layers is close to 0.35; in according with the Provision in aseismic design code that the horizontal seismic reduction coefficient can choose 0.53 and the upper building can be designed by decreasing one degree.(4) Only allow location isolated structure through isolation result superior to limit location isolated structure. However, limiting displacement isolated buildings not only have the isolation effect but also prevent isolation layer causing large displacement to lead to destroy, and play a protecting to the structure doubly role under the maximum earthquake action..(5) The key to limiting displacement isolation lies in the gap and the stiffness. The rational selection of the stiffness and gap can not only make top of the structure in elastic range ,but reduce the deformation of the isolation under the rare earthquake.
