The Environmental Management Project Studies Of Chaersen Reservoir

The construction of water conservancy in China has achieved a great success. China has built up more than 80,000 various kinds of reservoirs altogether, which have made the enormous economic benefit and social benefit. Meanwhile, the reservoirs built up have made enormous influence on surroundings, some of which is good while some is bad. With the development of social economy, the human' s demand for water will be larger and larger, therefore, the quantity of reservoirs will increase, which will bring more and more impacts of reservoirs on surrounding environment. Since ihc operation and maintenance of reservoirs cost a large amount of money, the issues of weakening the reservoir adverse effect and reducing the reservoir cost of operation and maintenance have been brought to public attention. It is necessary to make a deep research in the environmental planning and management of the Reservoir. The paper mainly focuses on the environmental planning and management of Chaersen Reservoir .The following work has been done: (1)analyses the current ecological situation of Chaersen Reservoir; (2) carries on water and soil conservation near the reservoir area; (3)restore the ecosystem of reservoir; (4)carries on the integrated environment management and improvement of the reservoir;(5) puts forward the idea of developing the tourist industry of the reservoir. This paper first discusses the environmental impact of the reservoirs, then investigates the reasons and background of water and soil loss, and then puts forward a method to maintain water and soil conservation of reservoir. The paper also discusses the ecological disruption and the ecosystem restoration of the reservoirs. It is necessary to improve theintegrated environment of the reservoir on the basis of carrying on water and soil conservation and ecological construction of reservoir area. Besides, combining the geographical position advantage of the reservoir in addition, it is possible to design and build the scenic spot to develop the reservoir tourist. Environmental construction of the reservoir and development of tourist have influenceed each other, that is to say, the environmental construction of the reservoir has offered the foundation and environment for the tourist development of reservoir, vice versa, the development of the reservoir tourist has offered some more fund and the perspective for further environmental construction of the reservoir.As can be seen in this paper, water and soil conservation of reservoir area is the foundation of the environmental construction and the ecosystem restoration. With the gradual recovery of the ecosystem of reservoir area and improvement of the vegetation coverage rate, the achievement of water and soil conservation will be consolidated too; water and soil conservation of reservoir area and the ecosystem restoration are just the basic conditions of environmental construction of the reservoir, based on which the overall construction and management in reservoir should be planned. It is important to provide a good working environment for both reservoir staff and resident population around when the integrated environment of reservoir area has been improved. Combining local resources, we should make full use of the advantages of the reservoir to develop reservoir tourist since the environmental condition of reservoir area has been improved.
