In many Application fields, power supply need provide a power source that its frequency can vary in a wide range. The signal power supply that this thesis proposed is a frequency variable power source used in test field. This thesis concentrates on analysis and designing the nuclear part: Inverter. Digital control is an important development in power electronic technology. This thesis first analyzes several digital control method of the inverter, then selects repetitive control strategy as the control strategy for the inverter. Stability, convergence capacity is analyzed to designing the repetitive controller. Two designing methods are analyzed in the thesis. Digital filter FIR is applied into the repetitive control strategy. Detailed designing method of the FIR filter is proposed in this thesis. The signal power source is simulated using the MATLAB Simulation tool. A signal power supply is constructed using Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and Micro Control Unit (MCU). Both system level digital control and device level digital control are realized for power electronic. Detailed designing method including hardware and software is proposed. Test results show that the signal power supply has good stability, wide frequency range and good performance.
