Microwave subassembly test equipments are some special test equipments used for measure some type of microwave subassembly of certain guided missile. Include fusee test system, main passway microwave receiver test system; revise passway microwave receiver test system.This text proceeds from the problem to be solved and current research situation at first, have recommended the concept, structure, characteristic of virtual instrument, GPIB bus system and Commands for Programmable Instruments (SCPI).Then the author discussed the design thought, the whole structure, the design of the hardware and software of the equipments. Finally, the above three microwave packages test equipments been realized on HP-VEE software platform.These test equipments can measure every parameter of fusee subassembly, main passway microwave receiver and revise passway microwave receiver.These test equipments have multiple functions such as testing automatically, individual event test, equipment regulating .system seting, password revising, result saving and printingThis paper can be divided into two major parts: one is the establishment of the Virtual Instruments Measurement Platform based on General Purpose Interface Bus (GPIB). Another major part of this paper introduced the design methods of the testing equipment in detail.
