Study On Transformation And Renewal Of Habitation Modality Of "Village In City" In Xi'an

"Village in city" is a countryside phenomenon and just vary in degree in different city. On one hand, building disorder, management confusion, sanitation worse, city foundation establishment lacking, habitation worse, security question is becoming serious in "village in city", on the other hand, there is lots of history culture reservation and continued Chinese old tradition. As a kind of habitation modality, "village in city" is different from rural and urban. We cannot solve the problem by the rebuild method. Habitation improving, city sight and development, social problem such as the duality of rural and urban, the division of rich and poor, division stratum, and social security all demand renewal of habitation modality of "village in city".The thesis takes "village in city" which has not been changed the rural organization structure in Xi'an as study object, focus on transformation of habitation modality. Take Xibali Village in Xi'an as case, adopt research method of visiting, interview and questionnaire tostudy current situation. From two aspects—spatial modality and social modality to analysis,mainly discuss house, traffic, city foundation establishment, management, sanitation and the change of living format. Going with reducing of tilth and people inrush, the living format have been changed in essence. In order to solve doubt why "village in city" exits, the thesis takes cases to describe the course of conformation of "village in city", then analyze the causes deeply, such as city expand, urban culture influence on rural culture and people inrush. Discuss rebuilding project of "village in city" in Xi'an, then sum up experience and lesson, reference international theory and practice which relate to the renewal of habitation modality of "village in city", rely on the current situation of Xibali Village point out the mode that renewal by stages.At last, summarize the main studies and give some advice about renewal of habitation modality of "village in city", which can give some reference to the research of "village in city".
