| Finite element method has been introduced in the ship structural intensity analysis since long time ago, and it has been widely used after the long-term accumulation. Along with the current trend of large-scale and specialized ships. Plus the emergence of new ships and the application of new materials, finite element method has played an important role in ship designing as well as shipbuilding.Because of its excellence: broad deck, stable navigation, flexible manipulation and so on, catamaran is becoming more and more popular. Because complexity of ship structure and exterior carry loads, accurate forecast of construction strength is very difficult mission. Finite element method has been one effective method in analyzing ship strength wholly and precisely. Reasonable finite element model for ship structure strength can evaluate the more exact stress stateIn this paper, the author creates and modifies the FMA models according to the 120 passengers wave piercing hydrofoil, and apply the software to design and calculate ship structure. The paper consists of five chapters. In chapter one, the author introduces and analyzes the research status and presents the purpose and significance of conducting the research. Then analyzes the development, characteristics and advantage of the FMA methods in chapter two. In chapter three, the author introduces traits of the bonder conditions, meshing model and loading method. By the methods, create and analyzes the FMA model in chapter four. And the last chapter, the author summarizes the whole paper and establishes a further vision on the solution to existing problems. |
