Water control of Yellow River has relation to not only such as waterpower of lifeand industry in cities along Yellow River, agriculture irrigation, downriver reducing silt,entironment and so on, but also omnifarious benefit among various departments.Therefore water control of Yellow River is a complicated and difficult job. However allthe times, water control of Yellow River is carried through by administrative measuresand traditional experience, so work efficiency is not high. In order to control, manageand keep water resource of Yellow River with reason, Yellow River committee makes asuggestion that modern remote monitoring control system of Yellow River sluice gatebe built to realize digitized Yellow River. In remote monitoring control system ofYellow River, local monitoring control system of Yellow River sluice gate putimportance on Yellow River, which is pivotal part of water control. However, intraditional monitoring control system of Yellow River sluice gate, monitoring functionis realized by manual work, control function is realized by pushbutton-relay system, andraising and falling gate is achieved by pushbutton hardware. In traditional system,operator's subjective infection,many electric contacts and behindhand control measuresresult in opening height of sluice gate is not anticipant. So Yellow River administrationin Shandong province bring forward that manual control system of traditionalpushbutton-relay shoulid be reformed and modern local monitoring control system ofYellow River sluice gate should be built by PLC in order to lay a foundation forrealizing digitized Yellow River.Firstly this paper introduces the background of Yellow River sluice gate, secondlyit analyses the importance and significance of reforming traditional monitoring controlsystem of Yellow River sluice gate, finally this paper sums up using PLC and designingperfect control software may realize to monitor and control Yellow River sluice gatelocally, and building applied, reliable, advanced, high-effective local monitoring controlsystem is hopeful. On the basis of it, this paper analyses actuality and problem of PLCcontrol software, and discusses content and significance of control software. On theother hand, this paper introduces base modules and hardware configuration of PLC,and analyses I/O distribution and instructions system of PLC, what's more, it discussesand researches how to design and realize applied system software depending on PLC.On the basis of this discussion, aiming at automatic reform project in local monitoringcontrol system of Yellow River sluice gate in Shandong province, this paper analysesmain function and general structure of PLC control system, furthermore it designscontrol loop and electrocircuit of system. On the basis of hardware system, this papernot only designs control software of monitoring control system depending onMomentum PLC, and analyses the theory of signal connection and data processing, butalso writes important subprogram such as the program of state monitoring, informationdisplay, raising and falling control of sluice gate, trouble alarm and so on, and discussthe theory of data communication between PLC and Magelis interface. Finally,according to debugging and running PLC control system, various data information isobtained, What's more, the test of raising and falling sluice gate is carried through. As aresult, local monitoring control system of Yellow River sluice gate based on MomentumPLC works in the course of nature, moreover control software runs reliably and assortswith hardware well. In one word, control software of PLC achieves anticipativepurpose.
