Lightning is an instant discharge phenomenon occurs in nature, and accompanied bysound, light appears. Usually the first discharge process duration is0.1-1.0s. In order tostrengthen the management of water resources of the Yellow River to ensure the normaloperation of the industrial and agricultural water supply along the Yellow River, the state hasinvested more than3,000million for the51yellow river water diversion project to install aremote monitoring system, but because of their geographic Yellow River water diversionparticularity of location, natural conditions are very harsh, sluices remote monitoring systemsoften struck by lightning during the rainy season, the equipment was severely damaged, theeconomic losses, therefore, to promote mine work to ensure the smooth operation of the remotemonitoring system has a very important significance.This paper base on lightning meteorological the multivariate experts rule, real-timeacquisition of meteorological information as data in support of the control system, and learnfrom the expert system control method to achieve the lock chamber power lines automatically switching. Lightning protection control system uses ABB’s AC500-ECO PLC as the sceneworkstation, Wei Lun touch screen MT6070IH as a host computer. Lightning protection controlsystem achieves on-site environmental monitoring, device status monitoring, manual control/automatic control, remote SMS control and real-time alarm,history data storage. The system inthe lower reaches of the Yellow River in Shandong has been used in practical operation showsthat the security of the system, reliable, high degree of automation, simple operation, low cost,easy to maintain and realize the sluices remote monitoring system lightning protectioneffectively, has met the design requirements.
