Primary Research On The Spirit Of Place Of Landscape

It's the most significant of the landscape to give people experiences of spirits besides satisfying people's demand of aesthetic and function in form.However lots of problems come into being with the accelerating development of the landscape construction in our country, such as the quality unifying of the culture, comedown of the meaning etc. Consequently it leads to loss of the spirit of place and people are lack of experience of spirit in the landscape.The thesis mainly deal with the issues on how to make the landscape become the space where people experience the spirit and arouse the spirit of place of landscape. Firstly,starting with the philosophy fountainhead and connotation of place and the spirit,the thesis studies and analyses the spirit of place from different angles to make the connotation of the spirit of place of landscape comprehended. Secondly,the thesis combines the theory about the issue of environment psychology to analyse the people's psychology feeling and the experience wok of the spirit of place in order to probe into the psychological law and working principle of experience of spirit in the landscape.Thirdly,the thesis analyses the controlling factor of the spirit of place of landscape.At last, on the base of the above studies,the thesis combines the classical cases in the world to induse the ways and skills for designing.So that it can offer the referential methods for landscape planning and designing in our country.
