The research and design of this dissertation is basin on the actual demand of harbor weighbridge system, and under the present situation that the systematic automation degree of domestic weighbridge is not high to go on. The research design is living to be underway on the original weighbridge system, and achieves the weighbridge manufacture automation by means of research and design. The system adopts the weighbridge to weigh, the road sluice gate regards the main control target, and with the subterranean reaction and infrared acing as the main examination measure, and supplements with red and yellow green signal light and speech sounds prompting, and achieves the vehicle passes orderly the weighbridge and weighs and counts fees for it. The control part adopts PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) to make the lower main controller, the PC (Personal Computer) makes the super supervision computer,single chip microcomputer assistance controls speech sound prompt. The PLC's control procedure was composed in the STEP7 compiling environment, and realizes man-machine interaction through the VB (Visual Basic)'s procedure of the super supervision computer. Finally the organic combination of DO-part,examination section, control section, communication section and else sections achieves the intelligent automation control of system. The innovation spots and features of the research and design possess: Twin sluices gate were used in weighbridge system at first (sluice gate is all fixed in the export entrance) to control stream of cars and weigh; the vehicle sensor, the red and yellow green signal light of traffic facility device, and infrared sensor of correlation in the entrance guard security system led into the system, and the system had the certain intelligence and humanization. Many branches of learning and a lot of new products were utilized in the system study and design process, especially numerous sensors applications, in case weighty sensor, infrared sensor and vehicle examination sensor and so on; applications of much thinking and way in the system design process are another great feature, like application function decomposition method, Black Box technique analytic approach and complement design etc. The advantages of the finished system as follows: the automatic and intelligence degree is high, the dependability is good, it is simple and convenient to manipulate, the layout is beautiful, the value is high (performance ratio cost) and so forth. Although the thesis discussed automatic system of weighbridge from the aspects of hardware, software and correspondence and so on, but as whole automatic manufacture system author just made an part among them, therefore may have the shortages in the aspects of thesis discussing, and waits further perfect.
