On the railway system, the apparatus that weigh the various railway vehicle and its goods is called weighbridge. The weighbridge is divided into the static weighbridge and the dynamic weighbridge by the way of measure. The dynamic weighbridge is a valid means to quickly and automatically calculate the bulk cargo, with the high-speed development of the national economy of our country, the technique of dynamic weighing is valued by people more and more. With the development of computer and virtual prototyping, a new method of designing weighbridge has been generating, it is called virtual product development. Make use of the virtual prototyping, can simplify the program of designing and developing the mechanical product, shorten the period, reduce the expenses and costs, raise the quality and capability, to acquire optimization product.The paper has established the virtual prototyping model of the portable dynamic locomotive and vehicle weighbridge which is being researched by my university. The model is based on three-dimensional parameter software Pro/E and multi-body dynamic simulation software ADAMS. The paper has emulated the condition of a 30-ton weight empty train passing the weighbridge at the speed of 1.5 kilometers per hour, and gotten the stress response curves of the signal collection points in the weighing beam and the attenuation vibration waveform of wagon body under viscous damping role. The simulation result has verified reasonability and scientificalness of the portable weighbridge. It analyzed the influence of the portable weighbridge by the structure of weighing beam and the vertical vibration of wagon body. The analysis result provides the reference for the design, test and improvement of the portable dynamic weighbridge.
