The Study Of The Wireless Vehicle Weighbridge Based On Bluetooth

The mobile weighbridge is used to check the suspicious vehicles for overweight on the road. The traditional weighbridges are too bulky to be carried, and the interfaces with wire are easy to be polluted and result in mistakes. So, a kind of wireless data collection system which must be portable, secure and efficient is needed imminently. Bluetooth technology is a world-wide open standard for wireless data communication. It fulfills the wireless connection for mobile device in short distance upon low cost. It is used more and more to substitute cables and realize the wireless net among digital devices and computer device. It is widely used in communications, network, chip, software, communication wiring and car-making.In this thesis, based on Bluetooth technology, a scheme of collection, process, display and control for data in real time is proposed. In this thesis , the data collection and process are realized on MSP430; the Bluetooth interface implements the asynchronous serial communications; on the handset terminal special for police( one kind of mobile with PDA), data display and remote control are realized.In this thesis, wireless transport system is introduced firstly, the system design scheme is proposed. After reviewing the Bluetooth protocol stack, integration scheme for the Bluetooth technique is proposed. Based on Bluetooth chip BlueCore2, the serial port communications are configured. The hardware and software design are finished on single-chip machine MSP430. The collection and process for weight signals, the communications on UART between the BlueCore2 and MSP430 ,are all realized.
