The Research On The CAD System Of Design Of The DTⅡ Belt Conveyor

Based on the systematical analysis and study of selecting design theory for belt conveyors and mechanical CAD technology, this thesis combined the manufacturing experiences of Caijichang mining machine factory and the existing research results together and designed a CAD system for DTâ…¡ Belt Conveyor design.The system established a standard database for DTâ…¡ Belt Conveyor by SQL Server 2000 database system.Using Visual Basic 6.0 and AutoCAD2004 VBA as developing tools, and through ODBC and ADO technology to access the database, the system realized the automation of the whole design process of DT II Belt Conveyor selectioa Using the present popular drawing systems, such as Auto CAD, this thesis developed a parametric drawing program which can be used to draw many parts and structures of belt conveyors. The system makes use of computer to finish many boring calculations, drawing jobs so that it can shorten the design period, lighten work intensity and enhance design quality.The system is mainly composed of six sections, which are Selecting Design Module, Parametric Drawing Module, DataReport Module, Database Manage Module, Logging in Module and About Module.
