Research On Recurrent Modeling For Mechanical Product Manufacturing Cost And Application

Based on the background of China manufacture engineering facing economic globalization, the researches on how to estimate cost during design stage are important because the cost is becoming the key factor between time, cost and quality which determine the competitive performance of products. This dissertation makes a systematic research of the theory of product cost estimation. As a result, author establishes an integrated information system for Manufacturing Cost Estimation of Mechanical Products. The key thought of this paper are on the method of product family modeling, the expression of the configuration design knowledge, product cost modeling and optimizing.In the first chapter, the paper analyses the background and meaning of the research on cost engineering during product design and describes the meaning of manufacturing cost of product. This chapter analyses the methods of manufacturing cost estimation and compares the methods of product family modeling. The author points out the deficiency of current research and presents the main content of article, research method and the structure of article.In the second chapter, this paper describes the meaning, function, principle and structure of product family and analyses the form, building method of product family. Based on the analysis of product family knowledge, the article analyses the basic flow and the key technology of product family modeling. Finally, this article analyses the meaning, species, and structure of bill of materials. In the same time this article discusses the relationship of BOM with other system frame.In the third chapter, based on the analysis of product cost structure for mass customization and the effect of different customized demands of customers, the article puts forward a method of product family modeling based of the common platform. The author builds the GBOM model faced the product family. At last the article discusses the design and calculation of BOM.In the forth chapter, based on the analysis of the calculational flow of product manufacturing cost, the author builds up the recurrent modeling for product manufacturing cost based on the BOM of MC configuration. The enterprise can give the quick and reasonable price based on this modeling.
