The layout design is a significant factors in many aspects, for instance, it affect the smooth of workshop material flow the manipulation and servicing of the machines the using ratio of workshop area the improvement of productivity the reducing of manufacturing cost the improvement of equipment life-span and accessory quality and so on. Therefore, it is important to layout the equipment whether in new workshop foundation or in old workshop rebuilding.According to different workshop's characteristic, the author classify the workshop into different types, and found evaluate target for every type. The author use certain workshop as a example and use GA and SAA to evaluate it. The evaluate result fit the requirement of the manufacturing.The author has brought forward new classing manner which is different from the old one. The author also found evaluate target for every type of workshop. The author bring forward the conception of convey rules, and use it as one of the evaluate target. The conception is useful in solving the problem of multi-workpiece workshop layout. Contrast with the old method, the evaluate target system which the author has founded is all-sided and fit the manufacturing circs better.
