| There are very close relationships between projects development intensity and road traffic in mountain cities urban redevelopment. It is necessary to control projects development intensity critically basing on road traffic factors in order to meet the demand of high intensity development and preservation of certain levels of service (LOS) of road, which leads to ordered and sustainable mountain cities urban redevelopment. There is an overall comprehension of projects development intensity critical control in mountain cities urban redevelopment based on road traffic factors as a whole, basing on the theories of cybernetics. The study points out the management control process and the fit ways of control, the feedback plan control and the goal control. The goal of control is to find out the development intensity that leads to a sufferable LOS. The controller is urban planning management and the projects planning and design is under the control. The standard, forecast and measures are transfers of the control. Reasons should be found out and measures including projects strategies should be taken to adjust the deviation of road traffic load. Results of reforecast are compared with the standards again and again until the goal of control is achieved. The analysis of the control transmitters shows that the development intensity critical control is needed In certain conditions. The critical development intensity is conditional and variable. The so-called development intensity critical controlled project plan may be several ones, so as the critical development intensity. A formula of development intensity critical control based on road traffic factors is set. The relationships among the projects strategies, urban planning management, projects planning and design and the environment are analyzed. Different control ways of projects strategies fit for different conditions and the applications in urban planning management, urban design, architecture programming and architecture design are pointed out. The conclusions of above researches are applied in practical project of mountain city urban redevelopment. Through comparison-study on several plans, it is pointed out that different forecast data and measures may lead to different development intensity critical control plans. Different critical development intensities demand different project plans and road traffic plans, which have different factors. The plan with maximal critical development intensity is not surely the best one, no mattered for the city or for project itself. The best plan should be chosen through comparison-study in practice. This study should enlighten the researchers and people involved in urban planning management, urban design, architecture programming and architecture design to some degree, and be helpful for their better work. |
