At present, China's urban development is rapid, but it also faces many problems during its process. However, with the improvement of urbanization level and the residents' living level, the number of urban motor vehicles has increased sharply, and the urban traffic has become the most prominent and difficult problem in the process of urban development in China. The essence of urban traffic problems is the uncoordinated development of urban land development and traffic development. On one hand, the intensity of urban land development is accompanied by the gradual development of economy and society, and the lack of transportation system. On the other hand, urban traffic system is often set in a passive position with the face of the upheaval of urban land development model. The special planning for traffic, which should be coordinated with the detailed planning of the control, is often carried out independently or even reduced to become a subsidiary of controlled and detailed planning,so that there is an inconsistency between land use and traffic development at the planning level. In order to coordinate the relationship between land use and urban transport, the traffic impact assessment work has been paid more and more attention. The traffic problem caused by land use development has been alleviated to a certain extent. But the traffic impact assessment in the road network optimization often stays in the control index level, and the optimization of the proposed also is lack of practical guidance.Specifically, firstly, in the road network adjustment and optimization, in order to achieve the purpose of land development and traffic coordination, the new development project road network optimization should be synchronized with the development of urban land development or even ahead, but now in most cases, because of the lack of reasonable and practical guidance, the optimization of the road network adjustment work lags behind the new project development, and it's even difficult to propose effective road network optimization and adjustment program for new development projects; Secondly, road network optimization work often involves wide aspects and heavy burden, and the relative resources are very limited, moreover, recently, the road design and optimization work is often lack of overall consideration of the road network, and the optimization is also lack of focus, making the urban road network planning and road optimization work missing the point, so it is far more different from the reality and is difficult to achieve the desired results. In order to solve the above problems, this paper studies the characteristics of various types of high-intensity development land and the surrounding road network, putting forward the traffic forecast analysis as the structure, and the development project traffic forecasting is based on the circle extrapolation theory, and then delineates the survey data of the road network, making sure a key design method and road network analysis method. Through the road network analysis, it can accurately locate the important indicators and key sections of the high-intensity development land surrounding road network under its influence, and provide practical guidance for the optimization of the road network around the city's high-intensity development land.Among them, the technologies involved include the determination of the maximum impact area of the urban high-intensity development land on the surrounding road network, the traffic distribution method based on the circle extrapolation theory, and the key design index of the road and the determination method of the important node section. The influence of the maximum influence range is based on the instantaneous line source model based on the BPR function, which can be used to calculate the influence radius of the divergent node of the development project. The method of traffic distribution based on the circle extrapolation theory adopts the non-equilibrium distribution method. The allocation weight is obtained by the residual capacity of each section, and the distribution of the traffic is allocated as the distribution coefficient. The key design index of the road is determined by the regression analysis method. The design of the road section is the independent variable set, which is aim to predict the traffic as dependent variable. And the key design parameters are determined. Based on the service level based on the saturation of the road section, the key nodes are determined by the traffic distribution before and after the distribution. Road service level comparison, combined with the actual observation of the road network conditions, is to study the sections within the scope of screening, and then determine the important node sections.Based on the analysis of road network extrapolation theory, on one hand, it can effectively coordinate the relationship between urban land development and surrounding traffic and alleviate the traffic problem caused by urban land development and traffic contradiction. On the other hand, before the starting of development project, it can be used to provide feasible and effective guidance for High-strength development of the surrounding road network optimization work. And then, it can achieve the development of urban transport system and urban land development in a smooth, synchronized and harmonious way.
