This thesis deals with the congregated dwelling houses which were developed by Shenzhen Vanke from 1988 to 2010 in Shen zhen and analyses from the angle of real estate market and architecture in depth. During the process of analysis, it takes six representative cases for example and exploits the changing track and logic of these dwellings in time sequence.The thesis attempts to find out the changes in temporal dimension and the trends for future development of the congregated dwelling houses developed by Shenzhen Vanke through its materials collecting, sorting, analysing and concluding. The paper is made up of five chapters. The first chapter will comb the enviromental background of the real estate market and then appraise the study objects; the second chapter will analyse the living cases of congregated dwelling houses develpoed in Shenzhen from 1988 to 2000, including the Tian jing garden, Gui yuan garden as well as Sijihuacheng. At the same time, the thesis will analyse and conclude the changing of these dwelling; The third chapter will give some examples of the congregated dwelling houses developed by Shenzhen Vanke from2000 to 2010 including Jinyilanwan, Shi qi ying li and Qin lin jing, analysing and concluding the changing of these dwellings. The fourth chapter will study and investigate the changes of a flat's living room, kitchen, toilet and the detailed space. And make the conclusion of their changing laws. The fifth chapter will analyse some influencing factors and trends in the change of the dwelling. At the same time,it will introduce the ways of the one-mimute designing dwelling. At the end, the thesis will summarize the study purpose of the thesis.
