The 3-phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) AC Servo System has such characteristics as good low-speed operation performance, higher efficiency, lower moment of inertia and pulse of torque, higher cost performance and the ability to full run and control simple. The PMSM servo system is widely used in many high-performance field, have already become the main application of AC servo system. Because DSP (Digital Signal Processor ) has strong data processing ability and. quick speed, it simplify the hardware greatly, has lowered costs, improve systematic control precision and dependability realized the control algorithm by DSP. The digital AC servo system design based on DSP has become the center of research and the tendency of AC servo system developmentThe paper explains the theory of PMSM Vector Control at first, analyzes the control principle of a Speed Field Oriented Control (FOC) of PMSM Motor and proposes the PMSM model.Then, The SVPWM real model and realize method is studied using DSP hardware characteristic. There are many virtues to use it such as clarity of conception, simple of arithmetic, high utilization of DC voltage, especially easy of being realized by digitization.Aimed at the characteristics of PMSM, F240 DSP and its developing system, the paper present the hardware and software design plan of PMSM digital AC servo system, In the hardware, include the design of power circuit, PWM driver circuit, position, speed, current measure circuit; in the software, write the program of current, speed, magnet position measure, DSP control arithmetic, various kinds of coordinate transform and SVPWM.Because the PMSM have non-linear and coupling of the parameters, parameters excursion cased by temperature change, it is difficult to obtain the satisfactory result to use the general control theory. In a great deal of control theory, fuzzy controller is independence of plant models and has stronger robustness, so we presents fuzzy controller to control the position of a PMSM. As the fuzzy control has difficulty to achieve stable precision, the paper design a fuzzy-PI controller, it can adapt the change of parameter and also can eliminate the stable precision, achieve the good precision. Simulation results demonstrate the Fuzzy-PI controller has a faster responding seed, a higher stable precision and robustness than the conventional PI controller.Last, the paper provides the system simulation results and some of experimental results, the results indicates the control method can satisfy the high-accuracy demand of PMSM servo system, acquire the anticipated control result.
