Research On Current Master Plan Compilation

Planning compilation is the planning of planning. Master plan is very important in domestic urban planning system. Cities in the new period faces varied and complicated backgrounds, yet current master plan compilation is lack of variations so that many problems occurred in the master plan in many cities. Therefore master plan compilation is necessary to reform.. This paper takes master plan compilation as the research object. By using data of international master plan, the economic, social and environmental background of China is analyzed, current master plan compilation is inspected on the grounds of master plan compilation theories and methods, and the framework of master plan compilation is restructured by taking some metropolis as cases. This paper intends to provide a set of systematic and comprehensive operation methods for the reform of master plan compilation in China, and provide references for the international urban planning compilation system.
