The Applying Of Panel Protection Theory In Distribution System Automation

This paper find a new generation of feeder protection terminal units applying panelprotection theory. The main character of panel protection is that the facility should usenot only the protective relays' own information, but also other information in this system,then locate fault section and trip, so that protect its own facility or local system. TheCanBus, which has powerful functions and is easy to construct network and extend, isused in this paper, it applies non-devastating bus arbitrating technology, suppliesmulti-master work. And it adapts to the operation environment with strongelectromagnetic interference。Through analyzing the character of the short-circle, a simple and practical criterion isspecified in the paper. Otherwise, other algorithm and theory such as measuring andsample revising are discussed in order to get more accurate detecting information. Thecorresponding hardware is devised on the base of the former research.
