Structural engineering project will be disturbed by all kinds of unsure factors in construction because it has the characteristic of big investment, long time-period and complicated technical requirements. Therefore, all the participators in construction face sundry risks inevitably. Without prevention, the risks probably may affect the completion of engineering and even lead to serious consequence. Thereby, it is necessary to implement risk management in structural engineering project. Firstly, this article analyzes the concept and characteristics of risk and structural engineering project risk, and the concept and main content of structural engineering project risk management. Secondly, it is discussed respectively the main process of structural engineering project risk management-risk identification, risk analysis and assessment, risk control and decision. The article introduces several risk identification methods and the participators' main risk in structural engineering;In the aspect of risk analysis and assessment, fuzzy analytical hierarchy process and ABC method are applied in the engineering cost risk analysis. Risk control and decision is the core of project risk management. The article applies avail theory to engineering risk decision problem taking decision-maker's risk attitude into account. The article takes it as an example to ascertain some bidder's avail function of bid problem in structural engineering, and introduces "N-M mentality testing method and math model method to ensure avail function. Finally, the article discusses construction safety risk management of structural engineering. At first, this article identifies, analyses and assesses safety risk of engineering construction, and presents corresponding risk control measures. Afterward, the article erects the relation model of construction safety cost and safety performance basing on the survey to construction enterprises by safety cost questionnaire. And then, the article erects the appraise index system of construction safety cost configuration and selects the best one from the different safety cost schemes using AHP and gray theory in order to study how to utilize construction safety cost effectively and provide some reference to the supervisors of structural engineering.
