Xiaowan hydropower station is a huge hydropower station among the eight stephydropower stations to be built on mid-down stream of Lancangjiang River. Everycomponent of the engineering is interfered with the construction site layout.Construction of every component is dynamically changing, thus it's difficult to grasplarge amount of dynamic information. To intuitively and accurately describe thecomplex and dynamic spatial relationship among all sides interfered in constructionsite layout design of Xiaowan hydropower station, 3D dynamic visual modeling andanalysis for construction site layout of Xiaowan hydropower station is studied. Themain contents and achievements of this thesis are summarily listed as following:Firstly, the mode of visual simulation for construction site layout of Xiaowanhydropower station is presented. Simulated data structure is organized with theplatform of GIS, and the 3D visual digital models are made. The complex anddynamic spatial information interfered in construction site layout is describedintuitively.Secondly, the theory of decomposition-coordination and controlling for largesystem is applied. The construction site layout system of Xiaowan engineering withsix subsystems is built. Then the simulation of the whole construction site layoutsystem is expressed with the simulation and decomposition-coupling of allsubsystems. According to the construction site layout system of Xiaowan engineering,the method of 3D visual modeling for construction site layout of Xiaowanhydropower station is presented. 3D visual models for construction site layout ofXiaowan hydropower station are made.Thirdly, the flow of the 3D dynamic visual simulated data for construction sitelayout of Xiaowan hydropower station is analyzed and designed, and then the 3Ddynamic visual simulated demonstration and visual inquiry and analysis ofinformation for construction site layout of Xiaowan hydropower station are realized.3D dynamic visual simulation system for construction site layout of Xiaowanhydropower station is optimized. The successful development of the system providesa forceful aided tool for design of construction site layout of Xiaowan hydropowerstation.Fourthly, parametric aided design for road of hydroelectric engineeringGIS-based is discussed elementarily. The conception and the process of aided designare presented concretely. It is validated to be feasible through an example.
