Double electrical podded propulsion is the focus in ship electrical propulsion research field recently. In our country, both the theory and the experiment on electrical podded propulsion are still underway. So, developing our own ship electrical propulsion system is our pressing task. We should not only refer to the experience of foreign countries but also base on our own status to develop our own electrical propulsion system and supervision system. It is also necessary to carry on teaching activities of the ship electrical propulsion in campus. The author finishes the design of the teaching system of ship electrical propulsion by using the configuration software , PLC ,and so on.The thesis introduces the conception and characteristic of the ship electrical propulsion system, analyses the podded propulsion, and introduces the structure and characteristic of the double podded propulsor. The author refers to lots of literatures and datum on internet, and understands the structure and working process of the podded propulsion.In supra side, the author uses zutaiwang6.5 configuration software design the supervision part of the ship electrical propulsion. The supervision part includes the generator, ship power station, and the propulsion control system, which makes the students understand the whole process of the ship electrical propulsion, be aware of the working principle and control method of the electrical podded propulsion, and be convenient for teaching and research.In infra side, the author chooses the SIMENS CPU 214 PLC to control the speed subsystem of the podded propulsion, and chooses emulator PLC to control other devices such as the generator, ship power station. The emulator PLC can simulate the real PLC, and provide the data for zutaiwang6.5 to finish the supervision and control. The author uses the equipments in lab design the speed subsystem of podded propulsion, and use the SIMENS S7-200 series CPU 214 design the PID program.The author use the PPI communication protocols implement the communication between PLC and zutaiwang6.5.At last, Key conclusions are given at the end of the thesis. Problems anddrawbacks of the present method are discussed, according to which some suggestions are given for further research.
