The testing bench which is to test the performance of the brake is an important device to test the characteristic and mass of the brake. Now we commonly use mechanical inertial flywheel to simulate running mechanical inertia. This method can reproduce the working condition of the braking structure .The testing bench include a group of inertial mass flywheel, therefore results in several disadvantages: high demand on the dynamic balancing of the flywheel, large volume and heavy weight of the flywheel group, a difference in simulating rate, inertia can't be adjusted infinitely, vertical braking working condition can't be simulated.So this has become one of the important point that businesses at home and abroad want to improve on the testing bench.This article will discuss a simulating system consisting of the testing bench for the brake staff to avoid the disadvantage of the inertial simulating system .In the theory and in the experiment, electronic simulating method is used to analyze the inertial system. Electrocircuit method is used to simulate the working condition of the testing bench for the characteristic of the brake staff. Electrocircuit stored energy component is used to simulate the stored energy of the inertial wheel, charging and discharging process of the stored energy component is used to simulate accelerating and braking process of the inertial wheel to achieve the simulating of the working process of the test bench.To perform the functions above, singlechip is designed to control the electrocircuit, the rule of the changing of the voltage in the process of the charging and discharging of the capacitor is used to simulate. 8051 singlechip is introduced in the design. C language is used to design the programme of the singlechip. Meanwhile the interface circuit of the A/D, D/A, I/O is designed to achieve the communication among the computers and simulating software.Finally,EWB is used to test the feasibility of the circuit, simulating circuit is also designed.
