The Research On Energy Loss And Optimization Management In Power Plant

According to the demand of realizing economic operation and saving-energymanagement in power plant, a research project, granted by Northeast China Branch, ChinaPower Investment Corp (CPI) should be exploited,has been accomplished to assess on-lineenergy loss in power plant and to carry out energy-saving management on the basis of web. Inthis paper a theoretical framework based on the research project has been established.With respect to the multi-unit's power plant, especially to the different combinations ofunit's capacities and boiler-steam turbine connection, it is very complicated to calculate andanalyze thermodynamic process of the system and energy loss in consideration of not onlysingle unit but also the whole power plant. The long distance assessment on thermodynamicindexes, for example, temperature, pressure, energy loss, thermal deviation, etc.,will be of great benefit to improve the management for power plants and electric powercompanies. The system applying theoretical research results presented in this paper can alsoprovide huge information for the managers of power plant to help their decision.
