With the development and improvement of modern science and technology and electronic computer gradually , the finite element method is more and more popular in engineering structure. Nowadays, the analysis on internal force of structure is based on the hypothesis of plane system, but it can not solve the problem of stereoscopy. Three dimensions finite element will be used very extensively in huge volume concrete and complex constructions in the future. This paper describes the analytic method of internal force of ship lock structure and the principle of finite element method. Introduces the method and procedure of finite element method of the construction analysis. Besides this paper takes LinHuaiGang ship lock for example, and makes an internal force analysis on its lower part of lock head by using analytic method and three dimensions finite element method respectively. Contrast with the stress of the steel after construction finished. Shows that the applying of three dimensions finite element method in analysis of internal force of ship lock structure is very extensive and significant.
