Study On Conservation Planning System Inside The Xi'an City Wall From South Gate To Zhuque Gate

The conservation of cultural heritage mostly has been experienced from the architectural relics, historic area to historic city all over the world. In China the historic and cultural heritage conservation also experienced the same process and an integral protective conception of the historic culture city has been raised. The production of the protective conception in the historic area along and inside of Xi'an city wall has remedy the inadequate of the old protective system, at the same time, and cause the city wall's significance becomes to more integrated, because the city wall endure the status and characteristic in Xi'an historic cultural city. Thereby, the prestige of Xi'an city has been established.This article is on the theoretical basis of internal and external constitution and law, also it is on the research basis of the specific framework and area which is about the result of medium term research (The Research on the Building's Style and Features Along and Inside Xi'an City Wall). Firstly, the historic and current status in historic area which along and inside the Xi'an city wall has been analyzed, and the characteristic, value and current problems have been figured out. After explain the relation between South Gate to Zhuque Gate and whole city wall, the city wall's history and present situation have been investigated, analyzed, assessed and oriented, base on this, the protection planning of the area have been mentioned. Finally, this article is on the basis of protective planning's process and content in the area that have been selected, and also to provide maneuverability research for the frame of protective system in whole area where along and inside city wall.
