Study On Colors’ Administration Of Shichahai Historic Conservation Area

At present, the urbanization in china has made great never-ending changes andimprovements. However, the rapid progress of urbanization brings serious impact anddestruction to the urban color. Meanwhile, the traditional urban color of major historiccities is also faced with the difficult question of its protection and inheritance.Traditional color is the unique context and an important component of traditional featureof a historic city, it also plays an important role in regional identification. Protection andinheritance of traditional urban color is an important means to maintain traditionalhistoric features to historical and cultural cities. In this context, Shichahai historicconservation area in the old city of Beijing was chosen for exploring appropriatemanagement method which suitable for this district in scientific preservation oftraditional color features.The research background is discussed in the first chapter of this dissertation, andthe significance of this dissertation is inferred through the analysis of the background.Then the object of this research is confirmed and related concepts are defined, they formthe research method and framework. In the second chapter, the research status of urbancolor management at home and abroad and the old city of Beijing is discussed throughhackling related references and authoritative treatises. In the third chapter, fundamentaltheories such as chromatics and color system are first discussed, and management ofdesign, color phycology, color geography, urban color program are analyzed, based onthis proposed concept, purposed, process and method about colors’ administration ofhistoric conservation area. In the fourth chapter, have investigated actuality of color inthe area, established the basic database of colors’ administraion, analyzed and extractedthe character of regional traditonal color features. At the same time, analysis the workstatus and problems in regional colors’administration. In the fifth chapter,according tothe traditional color featues of Shichahai historic conservation area, planning and designthe regional color from macro, meso, microcosmic levels, puts forward the regionalconstruction recommended chromatography, on regional color management in the workof planning and design are discussed. The sixth chapter, proposes principle and strategyof colors’ administration in Shichahai historical conservation area, and focused on thebasis and process of color management implementation. I have summarized the researchachievement of this thesis and made a prospect in the section of conclusion and prospect.In this thesis, from a managerial point to study the traditional colors of Shichahai.In order to receive scientific protection and inheritance of the traditional color style of Shichahai, and provide certain reference on color management work of historicconservation area in the historic cultural cities.
