Automated Mechanical Transmission has already become a veryimportant direction for research and development in the field of AutomatedTransmission because of its advantages. In our country, many universitiesand automobile industries are trying their best to research and develop thesystem of AMT. Therefore, it has enormous use value for digging into thecontrolling means of the AMT system, for summing up the design approachof it, and then offering the best idea and method for development. It has thesignificance for industrialization of AMT and improving the developingability of Automated Transmission by ourselves.As the development of the technology, people put forward a new claimfor cars, such as environmental protection, security performance, therequirement for the passengers' comfort and entertainment as well as therequest for the assistant divers. These request made the autocontrol system ofcars become more and more complicated.In the thesis, hardware environments consist of especial expansive box-AutoBox which is developed by dSPACE (instead of ECU),drivingcircuit of direct current motor,direct current motor.The thesis introduces two control units in the AMT controlling system,one is TCU, and the other is ECU. Though the CAN bus, they realized theinformation share.The major point of the thesis is Chapter 3, it emphasizes to explainsoftware design of AMT motor control system. AMT motor control system ismade up of two sections-CAN communications programme and motorcontrol arithmetic. CAN communications program mainly includes threemodules: initialization module, sending data module and receiving datamodule. The major program is the section of motor control arithmetic. Itadopts the modularization design, consisting of the Master Control Programand many subprograms. In this system, the Master Control Program is incharge of obtaining the driving condition of cars, intention signals of drivers,then proceeds with identification. After making a good decision, it offers thebest joining rule of clutch to sub controller, then completes the controllingmanipulation with interrelated subprograms. Subprograms include theprograms of backing a car, starting, choosing the gear, shifting the gear,clutch separation and combination etc. Every subprogram has its own duties,supports each other and sometimes recalls each other. Next part introducesthe realized approach of the program with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.Using this project, we can design control arithmetic withMATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow. After giving the controlling model, itgenerates code directly by Simulink, then download the AutoBox to operate.During the debugging, it connects the computer with the Internet, through thetool of ControlDesk to control and observe the experiment. The real timesystem -dSPACE realized the complete join monolithically withMATLAB/Simulink, at the same time its figure enlarges the figure ofSimulink, develops relevant figures towards different kinds of functions ofeach hardware. Using these figures, it can complete the whole settingincluded the I/O interface and the process of the initialization without anycode.When finishing modeling with software RTI of dSPACE and generatingthe executable object code with RTW, The ControlDesk can accomplish theassignment of downloading the real time code, inspecting the signals,adjusting the parameter. The software environment of ControlDesk offeredthe functions as follows:1) Realizing the functions of the figulization of management of dSPACEhardware board, downloading the real time code and controlling the operating.2) Carrying out the optical management of all kinds of signals andmodule parameters in the emulation model.3) Helping the user establish dummy meter panel easily.4) Finishing the debugging assignment of adjusting the parameters online, tailing the real time curve, noting the real time data etc..
