The data's reality is the key of valid function and continuable development for Geographic Information System. Along with the spread and deepening of GIS technology application, the construction of spacial information system converts to centering of datum resource which always centering of technology ago, and the users' request for the reality and veracity of fundamental geographic data is higher then before. Data is the soul of Geographic Information System. Lack of temporal information, you can't update the GIS data effectively, so the system's life will be very weak.This paper briefly reviews the development course of the highway Geographic Information System. Combined with the domain character of our national highway management and the actual application situation, we bring forward the framework of highway GIS, and design it's database for flexibly data updating, which launches on the angle of systems engineering and the long-term aim. Accordingly, it resolves several main technical problems when we develop medium-sized or pint-sized highway GIS. It creates advantage condition for extended application and development of highway GIS.Following, by the analysis of our national road character and organized mode, this paper brings forward data updating modes for different type data (such as spacial data, attribute data, multimedia data). At the same time, for the sake of browsing and analyzing historical and changing data, we adopt combinative storage fashion for copying year history data and storing changing data. We make a particular design for changing database, which convenient to resume modified data. Based on temporal data, whereafter, the article lays stress on the realization details of route analyzing, which offers assistant decision-making for user's travel, freightage and emergent succor. Firstly, it refers to the basic concept of network analyzing; then, it introduces the establishment and storage of road network, and the realization of route analyzing; also, it makes elementary discuss of generalized shortest-path analyzing. Afterwards, this paper tells of the organization and management of layout road data, we realize the integrative management of figure and text. Also, we discuss the method of statistic class and the situation of realization.Finally, the whole contents about the article are generalized and some problems worthy of deeper study are put forward. |
