Research Of City Image Remodel Of The Hydropower Migrant Town In Southwest Mountainous Area

As south-west region of China is rich in hydropower resources, hydropower migrant town gradually becomes an important and unique type in its town infrastructure. Especially, the migrant problems exited in multiple towns of reservoir area arisen in The Three Gorges Project under construction have attracted extensive attention of experts and researchers in whole society. Wu liangyong says: living environmental migration of millions of migrants is not only a technical project, but also a complicated social project and cultural project.Different from bottom-up development approach of traditional towns as well as"no-origin"development of general new town construction, migrant town construction is a kind of transferable construction. Although urban function of inundated towns is relatively easier to recover in limited period, the difficulty existed in relocation lies in urban spiritual level transfer. The dissertation selects the general urban design as cut-in point, focuses on researching remodel problem of city image, discusses how to facilitate implement of"spiritual"remodelment by making great efforts on material form, so as to eliminate the adverse impacts on inundated towns in hydropower project construction and achieve win-win situation for co-development of hydropower project and migrant town.This dissertation consists of 4 parts:The first part is Chapter 1. This chapter briefs the research background and significance of the dissertation, domestic and international research status and methods, gives definitions for relevant concepts, and introduces the research framework of the dissertation.The second part is Chapter 2. This chapter investigates and analyses the status of inundated towns by hydropower project construction in south-west mountain regions in terms of natural environment, social culture and town space, with focusing on town space analysis. Planning target, task and existed problems of hydropower migrant town are also considered on basis of status investigation. Finally, it mentions the importance of general urban design in migrant relocation planning.The third part consists of Chapter 3 and Chapter 4.
