With the rapid development of economic and the continuous extending of human being's activity, pollution of the water environment all over the world is turning severely worse. For the huge population, per capita of water resource in our country is seriously insufficient. What's more, water pollution affects the living condition improvement of people in many regions in our country. It is necessary for us to protect and manage the water environment. In this dissertation, some research results on management of water environment of the predecessor are summarized. Further studies on how to establish a water environment management system on regions with intensive population, serious water shortage for water quality or functional reason were conducted, and a corresponding water environment management system are established. The following are the main contents:1 The present regulation state on water environment in our country is summarized and the necessary on water environment management are analyzed. Geographic Information System (GIS) have been applied in water environment. But many of the information system on water environment are limited. An economic water environment management system are exploited which can be operated easily by the unprofessional person.2 The necessary simulation technology, hard ware equipment and the soft platform in computer on water environment management are studied. The most suitable methods on system designing and integration are adopted to solve the possible problems during the system development.3 The reality of the river network are considered, establishment of database, function and construction of the system, application of the system are deeply analyzed, a water environment management system which is based on GIS are designed and developed. Some problem-solving schemes are given.4 Considering the characteristics of river network region of Jiaxing, the water environment management system is well applied in this region, through which the local water environment management is well managed. The practicability and the stability of the system are tested. |
