Han dynasty in Chinese history has milestone significance. The spirit of its age which covered the universe laid the foundation for the "harmony with God" philosophy which ran through Chinese culture. It has extremely profound influence on Sui,Tang Dynasty, Ming Qing Dynasty and future generations and became the main line of Chinese culture and roots. This spirit is also the essence of a culture of the Han Dynasty garden. It makes Han garden gradually form the garden style which space principle is vast and limitless and covers all things in the universe and is achieved through the natural landscape of space patterns. By nature, from the visual perspective, is built on the trend reflected, light patterns, and stresses the oneness of man and nature, and the formation of Han Dynasty garden culture is a spiritual basis for this pattern. Therefore, this article analyzes the impact of the historical background of the Han Dynasty, religion, philosophy, literature and art and other aspects on the various elements of the specific settings in the aeation of gardens, collects and cites ancient literature relevant information, extracts and interprets the Han Dynasty garden cultural core from different cultural forms and traces back the roots of its formation. In this article, Zhang Liang Temple, which is in Liuba county of Shaanxi Province, is taken as an example to study the relation between the landscape space pattern of Han garden and the culture of Han garden by taking the specific skills in landscape creation and the landscape space pattern as a starting point.In addition, Zhang Liang temple is a rare remain of Han Dynasty garden. This article, from the cultural features of Han Dynasty garden, makes an early research and plan from the perspective of the value in the protection of the heritage, and has some significance on current landscape designs which following the style of Han Tang Dynasty.
