The base-isolated structure is popularly being applied and developed in the world, and the technique is very mature, this technology is bringing many new ideas and methods in the design field of earthquake engineering protection and disaster mitigation. The multi-tower structure with a large podium is widely using in many cities, but its structural form is extremely complex, there are many difficulties and questions in the process of research and structural design. In order to improve the structure security in the during earthquake, introducing in based isolation techniques design isolated structure is very necessary and effective. At present, this research of based isolation structure is very little, methods of analyzing and computing is not perfect. So, in this paper author will lucubrate the task.In the process of analysis, calculation and design of isolation, the rubber-lead bearing is often used. In this paper, first, the predigested model of multi-tower structure with a large podium is proposed, and characteristic matrixes are obtained by finite element method;then, mechanic performance of isolation layer is analyzed, and applied bilinear model;dynamic motion of this structural system is proposed by d'Alembert principle, and discuss several methods of solution the equation, in addition author compile computer program using of MATLAB language, and does a real engineering analysis of dynamical time-history by the program, in succession, these dynamical response results are summed up and are plotted time-history curves;lastly, author does a analysis of contrasting to the isolation structure and the traditional structure on the basis of these computer results and curves, the results show isolation structure has very ideal effect in earthquake mitigation.Author has done much analysis study to the based isolation structure and traditional structure about multi-tower structure with a large podium, at one time compared to the structural performance between the base-isolated structure and aseismatic structure. The base-isolated technology is feasible and secure, in addition to computing and analyzing process are plain. The effect of earthquake mitigation is very good. In the paper, the dynamical responses are analyzed and contrasted in the different conditions, for example, different earthquake waves action, different towers and so on, these studies open out some rudimental rules in different waves and structures. At last, author give some interrelated and applied suggestions in the design of base-isolated about multi-tower structure with a large podium.
