As the high-rise buildings quantity increasing, and the height rising, the structureform is also changing at the same time. The multi-tower high-rise structure is one of thenew structures to adapt to this change and development. Isolation technology as an effec-tive passive control, in recent years has been more widely used. Isolation technolgy use-d in the multi-tower structure, the location of the isolation layer is divided into differentbase isolation and interlayer seismic, multiple. The seismic response of multi-towerisolation structure has many features, not only the interaction between the tower andchassis, but also the Translation and Torsion coupling.Under the multi-dimensional seismic isolation structure, the seismic response oflarge chassis tower isolation structure has its own particularity, the system under themulti-dimensional earthquake of translation-torsion coupling response study is alsounusual. In this paper, I build a large chassis asymmetry multi-tower structure analysismodel, analysis of elastic and inelastic time history analysis of asymmetric multi-towerbase isolation seismic ground motion, the interlayer seismic and seismic structure of theseismic response character-static of the main contents are:1) Established the dynamic equations of the large chassis tower isolation structure,select a method suitable for solution in this article. Reasonable comparativeanalysis of the isolation device, select the appropriate seismic isolation bearings forlarge chassis tower structure and the restoring force model, in addition, the articlealso describes the selection of the seismic waves and adjustment, select the appropr-iate for this article seismic waves.2) For large chassis structure, seismic base isolation structure and interlayer seismicisolation structure, analysis the mode of their finite element model, compares thenatural period of the structure and the mass participation factor. In addition,analysis the nonlinear time-history of the isolation structure and seismic structureunder frequent Earthquake, and the comparison of each of the seismic response ofstructure(story shear force, torque, displacement, angular displacement, acceleration,angular acceleration), and comparative analysis of the structure of the torsionalresponse.3) For large chassis structure, analysis the elastic-plastic time-history response ofseismic base isolation structure and the interlayer seismic isolation structure model under strong earthquake, and displacement, angular displacement, acceleration,angular acceleration of two kinds of isolation structure, simultaneously, comparedthe plastic hinge of three kinds structures, then gain the translation-torsion couplingresponse characteristics of chassis asymmetric multi tower structure.To sum it all, from the research results and get following results: natural period ofvibration isolation device is greatly prolonged compares to the seismic structure; it notonly can reduce the seismic response of structure of translation, but also the asymmetrymulti-tower structure torsional response; for the translational response, story-isolationstructure is slightly better than the base isolation structure, but the difference only in5%, and the effect is quite no difference.; for torsion in response, there is a bigdifference between the story-isolation structure and the base isolation structure, thestory-isolation structure is better than the base isolation structure.
