Time-history Analysis Of Isolated Structure With Tower Structure And Large Podium

Seismic isolated structure system is a passive control system, which is different from the traditional anti-seismic structure system. Through setting isolation layer, earthquake energy is absorbed and dissipated and earthquake response of the structure is reduced, so that the safety of the structure is ensured. Isolated structure system changes the energy is dissipation mechanism of traditional anti-seismic structure, i.e. the earthquake energy is absorbed and dissipated by energy dissipative device set in an isolation layer rather than by the structure and structure element. The seismic isolated structure system is popularly being applied and developed in the word and the technique is very mature , this technology is bringing many new ideas and methods in the design field of earthquake engineering protection and disaster mitigation. The tower structure with a large podium is widely using in many cities, but its structural form is extremely complex, there are many difficulties and questions in the process of research and structural design. In order to improve the structure security in the during earthquake, introducing in seismic isolated structure system is very necessary and effective. At present, this research of isolated structure is very little, methods of analyzing and computing is not perfect. So ,in this paper author will lucubrate the task.Firstly,a dynamic modal of the isolated structures is established and the global mass and stiffness matrixes for the structure are deduced. Secondly, using the large-scale finite element analysis code "SAP2000" to analyze the traditional anti-seismic structure and the isolated structure in different earthquake waves action.Author has done much analysis study to the isolation structure and traditional structure about tower structure with a large podium, at one time compared to the structural performance between the isolated structure and aseismatic structure. The isolated technology is feasible and secure, in addition to computing and analyzing process are plain. The effect of earthquake mitigation is very good. In the paper, the dynamical responses are analyzed and contrasted in the different conditions, for example, different earthquake waves action, different isolated structures and so on, these studies open out some rudimental rules in different waves and structure.
