| Today, market competition is becoming increasing drastic. How to shorten the developing cycle of products and how to enhance the success ratio of product design has become a pressing matter at the moment for each enterprise. On the base of summarization of relative research results of experts at home and abroad, the problems for rapid-design, is put forward in this thesis. Among them the primary and useful study of the vital question is carried through integrating the instances of domestic juicer design process in this paper. In the end the domestic juicer is accomplished by the rapid-design technology.At the beginning of this paper, traditional process of product design is summarized systematically. So rapid-design becomes inevitable key technology's trend of the former. A system structure frame about rapid-design is concluded to fit with rapid-design' need of common product, household appliances especially. In order to make customers satisfy with design's project much more, design method with customers participating in and how to realize customer's requirement is discussed. Moreover unit store's building and quickening the process in detail design is also absolutely necessary to rapid-design. Also the key technology of rapid-design such as Concurrent Engineering (CE), Virtual Product Development, Product Modeling (3D CAD in Due Engineering and Reverse Engineering including), Rapid Prototype, Case-based Reasoning (CBR) and Product Rational Engineering are introduced and function and behavior of them is emphasized in the process of rapid-design.Acquirement and decision-making of product's idea is very important to acquire juicer's design project accepted by customer. Some channels that inspiring design's originality of new juicer project is enumerated. Some relative information about same kind of products from Internet is more intuitionistic and value for reference and it give important instruction to decision-making of this juicer. Technology of DFMEA is applied in the juicer design in order to improve the quality of design and manufacture and so some probable problems happening in juicer' running's period is avoided effectively in advance. Designers can utilize existing design's resource to Variant Design by using unit store in factory and so the process of product design can be quickened more. Also the process of juicer's unit store is introduced by the tool-Programin Pro/Engineer.In the end, base on the system frame of rapid-design and combining with the method of Modular Design and Variant Design of Case-based reasoning, blue print of juicer is attained. Base on the characteristic of plastic part, adopting the design method of DFM and using 3D Pro/E, all parts' design of juicer are fulfilled. Also animation of juicer is built in order to communicate with customer conveniently more.To sum up, CBR theory, 3D CAD technology, Reverse Engineering and CE logic is applied in the process of Juicer design. It is a successful and beneficial exploration for applying Rapid-design technology in appliance development. |
