| Automobile plays an important role in promoting human society development, improving people's living conditions, not only physics but also spirit. Along with the progress of automotive industry, an emergence of a great deal traffic accidents becomes a serious social problem,because traffic safety have a direct relationship with people's life and property.There is more than half of traffic accidents occurred for bad breaking. While, heavy commercial vehicles increase steadily with blooming economic step. S-shaped cam drum brakes are applied in heavy commercial vehicles extensively. An over abrasion of brake shoe and inconsequence breaking clearance is the main cause of invalidations for drum brake. Therefore, research on automobile's break takes a great economic and social benefit.This dissertation presents a design of Auto-Interruption Regulating Arm based on the principle of clearance sensing, which can keep every break clearance at the same fixed value. According to the abrasion of brake shoe, an abrasion indicator is designed which works based on the Auto-Interruption Regulating Arm. There is a detailed research in manufacturing indicator's Magnetic Code Disc and its Surface Magnetic distributing. CAN bus is applied broadly in modern car as its many new technology and unique design. This dissertation gives a design of CAN intelligent node based on the layer structure and criterion of CAN. The node can link abrasion indicator to vehicle's CAN bus expediently, excluding a rather change to original hardware. The CAN node application is written in C programe. |
