Research On Modeling System And Key Technique Problems Of The Variant Design Method Of Auto Part

The research in this dissertation is about developing a modeling system for the auto parts. The model modeled on the system can be used for variant design which is a product design method and is common used in the Auto parts design activities. The research is part of the project of "Research on Product Design and Product Management Information System for Quick Respond Customer Demand and its applying in Auto parts". We have study the dimension variant design (DVD) method based on the Tabular Layouts of Article Characteristics (SML), and the product structure variant design (SVD) method based on the Base-Frame Model, and the assembly model express achieving the variant design of Product Level. We have used the research in developing the modeling system for Rui Li Group, an auto parts manufacturing company.Chapter â…  introduces the research status of variant design and the assembly modeling method. And introduces the problems have been faced by the Rui Li Group and the aim to achieve through the research.Chapter â…¡ is about the modeling system. In this part analyses the problems faced by product design department of the Rui Li Group. For solving the problems, we have architected a modeling system. And analyses the technique difficult will be faced in developing the system, such as how to implement DVD and SVD, how to express assembly model.Chapter â…¢ about the research of the dimension variant design method based on the Tabular Layouts of Article Characteristics. In this part, we have research modeling technique and design technique for the DVD based on SML.Chapter â…£ about the research of the product structure variant design method based on the Base-Frame Model. In this part, we have introduce the Base-Frame concept and have research how to model the Base-Frame model and how to use it for part and assembly modeling and to use the model inheriting form the Base-Frame for SVD.Chapter â…¤ is to solve the technique problem for the variant design of Product Level. In this part, we offer a method to associate the parameter and rule etc information with the component of the assembly model. The method can make the product model achieve not only the variant design of Product Level but also the variant design of Component Level.Chapter â…¥ describes the user interface of the modeling system and provide the example of application in the Auto parts design activities.The remainder of this dissertation summarizes the research work and gives the future works of this research.
