Shield tunnelling machine, which concerns of electricity, hydraulic, measuring, control, material etc, is a kind of engineering machine used for underground excavation. It's of consequence for shield's design and manufacture to set up a simulative shied. The coordinated action of thrust system which is a key to simulative shield can make simulative shield hold exact attitude.Hydraulic structural design, component's selection and cyber-control system project are presented in this paper. The emulation of thrust system is carried out using AMESim, and control algorithms are studied with PID,fuzzy PID,fuzzy self-tuning PID using AMESim and MATLAB/Simulink. According to simulation results, fuzzy self-tuning PID performs outstandingly. It's approved that thrust speed and press can be controlled well and truly by the experimental data.This paper includes five aspects:In chapter 1, the development course and research actuality home and abroad are summarized. The significance is referred and the main research subjects are outlined.In chapter 2, the principle project's selection and design of thrust system are made at length. Hydraulic structural design, component's selection and cyber-control system project are presented. Grouping control and integrated valve blocks technology are adopted, which simplifie the system structure and reduce energy consumption. And proportional pressure and flow compound control strategy is put forward.In chapter 3, simulative models of thrust system and load are set up using AMESim. According to simulation result and experimental data, thrust speed can be controlled effectively and press fluctuation can be reduced at the same time by proportional pressure and flow compound control.In chapter 4, some control algorithms, fuzzy PID and fuzzy self-tuning PID, are selected. The simulation results of speed and pressure response of different control algorithms are compared using AMESim and MATLAB/Simulink. According to the results, both fuzzy PID control and fuzzy self-tuning PID control have good control characteristics. And fuzzy self-tuning PID algorithm has the best performance.In chapter 5, some conclusions are given and some new views are put forward in the future.
