In this paper, the concept and the state-of-the-art of research development of the explosive reactive armor (ERA) and the tandem shaped charge warhead (TSCW) were introduced briefly first. Then the background and the objective of the research project for this dissertation were interpreted in details. On the base of the critical condition of the jet initating the explosive V_j~2d_j=const,which is put forward by Held. Giving a pilot study on the Penetrating-but-not-Detonated of a certain TSCW. Using the LS-DYNA software, simulate the process of the TSCW acting on the ERA. And analyse the liner of the different wrimble angle in the theory. The results of analysing indicate that the EFP is more suitable for the Penetrating-but-not-Detonated of the ERA.At the same time, Analysing the penetration of main armor by the main shaped charge of the TSCW, one dimension calculation was obtained to describe the process such as liner collapse, jet formation, jet strech and penetration by the C++ tool and the results were attained. At last, give a research on the TSCW in the experimentation. The research indicates that the result and the experimental result are identical. And validate the feasibility of the TSCW achieves the Penetrating-but-not-Detonated.
