Study Of Conceptual Design Of Product In Industrial Design

Industrial design (ID) is an important section of enterprise production, also a strategic factor of enterprise development. At present, industrial design in our country is still behind western country and lack of theory guidance and support of advanced technology means . The article select product conceptual design as the subject,which is the most challenge stage in industrial design,and my research is applied into the livelong vehicle, motorcycle, family electronic appliance design as well.Chapter 1 of the article reviews the history of industrial design, analyses the present condition and development trend of industrial design in our country, making contribution of finding a better solution, which contains the meaning of industrial design . The research in principle of industrial design is not deep enough, not to say the reform in innovative product design in our country. Problems are found in the industrialization, and, these phenomena uncover deficiency in many fields. So we have to make a survey to industrial design of our country.As a matter of fact it meets the demand of human being's physical and mental needs. It also lays a foundation for the theory system of innovative product design based on creativity. Through induction and analogy of different methods of product model-making design from home and abroad, The article try to make a deep research of the model design of innovative product design based on conceptual design and point out its theory, characteristic, and advantages. Thus, come to a conclusion that Chinese industrial design level still need to develop. and try to find out a solution of the problem: that is, to strengthen the study of industrial design, encourge the original and scientific product design .At the same time ,we endeavor to build up a extensive public platform, encourge the public to join in. Now industrial design in our country are under an urgent situation: instead of making copy of famous designs, we have to improve the skills and capacity of the industrial designers of our country and find out a proper way of our own country, to build up our own style.Chpter 5 which is the application of product conceptual design, illustrates the main idea of product conceptual design by analysing two successful design cases. This thesis also studies the characteristic and trend of product conceptual design by design case.
