Analysis and optimization of distribution network have become a focus of study, and distribution network reconfiguration is an important means to optimize power system operation and important content of distribution network automation study. Allowed for research condition of modern optimization algorithms and optimization of distribution network, reconfiguration of distribution network based on Tabu Search algorithm is studied in this paper.The main contents of this paper are as follows:â‘ Application of Tabu Search algorithm to distribution network reconfiguration is not extensive. In this paper, research condition and key problems of distribution network reconfiguration are presented in brief firstly, then theory of Tabu Search algorithm is discussed in detail, including basic idea, convergence of Tabu Search and influence of design and operation of each key parameter in algorithm on optimizing performance of the algorithm.â‘¡Reconfiguration to reduce power loss of distribution network is studied. The mathematical model of reconfiguration to reduce power loss of distribution network, research condition of power flow calculation of distribution network and a loadflow algorithm adopted in this paper for radial distribution network based on current of branches are presented in brief; Each key parameter of Tabu Search is designed considering characteristic of distribution network, such as an encoding strategy of decision variable based on switches of mesh, introducing an adaptive search strategy of intensification and diversification in Tabu Search, designing two kinds of neighborhood structure to create intensified and diversified solutions respectively, accordingly candidates are constituted of intensified and diversified elements, thus make the algorithm have self-regulation ability between search of intensification and diversification; Decision variable designed based on encoding of switches of mesh, makes easier to distinguish feasible solutions; To ensure quality of candidates, in the course of choosing fine neighborhood solution as candidate, a heuristic principle based on estimated equation of power loss is introduced to order neighborhood solutions according quality of each one; Program of the algorithm has been developed and numerical result is presented, which shows validity and better ability of global optimization, and because of introduction of the adaptive search strategy, the algorithm...
