The automobile electronic technology is a product of the automobile technology and the electronic technology. With the development of automobile industry and the electronics industry on the modern automobile, the application of electronic technology is more and more widespread. The degree of automobile electron is also more and more high. Automated Mechanical Transmission (AMT) is the product of the electronic technology rapidly development.Automated Mechanical Transmission (AMT) designed on the ground of Manual Transmission and dry clutch, is able to realize automotive starting and shifting of the vehicle by electro-hydraulic actuator that is controlled by Transmission Control Unit (TCU).Automated Mechanical Transmission (AMT) takes an important role in the family of Automatic Transmission, due to its high transferring efficiency, low cost, simply structure and easiness to manufacture. The system has been a topic of general interest because of its excellence properties and the demands of improving vehicle oil efficiency and decreasing vehicle exhausted gas in the world. Some vehicle corporations are developing the AMT technology in China, for example First Automobile Corporation, Second Automobile Corporation and Cherry Automobile Corporation. The paper is carried out combining the related research project. With the research of technology about AMT of test vehicle, the paper's main work contents include several questions that shall be analyzed following.1,The partial load velocity characteristic of the engine, torque characteristic of clutch, the static and dynamic control characteristic of transmission are obtained by the experiment, which establish the foundation of integration control among theirs.2. The characteristic of parcel spring clutch was analyzed, and studied the control technology of the engine, transmission and clutch separately. The math model of vehicle power drive system, was established to define the control method of clutch, analyzed the rule and the characteristic of shift clutch, and established the simple power system model on the course of the shift clutch.3. Based on the research and the analysis, the integrate control program was set down of AMT. The properties on starting and shifting clutch of AMT vehicle was tested, and obtained the favorable test data. Therefore the integrate control program achieves a very good control effect.
