Research On Planning Methods Of Parking Guidance And Information System

It is brought that the big stream of people, logistics and car on the road while fast development in economy and society. Owing to increasing of loving car complex and desire of possessing car, the quantity of drivers and urban motorcars is increasing rapidly. Parking has been outstanding problem. On one hand parking supply can't meet parking need, on the other hand there is the phenomenon that parking space is unused but service efficiency is on the low side.The way to solve the parking problem is roughly divided into three kinds: enlarging parking supply, carrying on parking demand management and improving the utilization ratio of existing parking facilities. From raiseing utilization ratio of parking facility, the thesis dose research on planning methods of parking guidance and information system (PGIS).Above all, this paper discusses the frame, system functions, user demands, construction preconditions and conformity planning based on the introduction of study and application situation; Then, planning project, planning process and foundation of guidance system in grades, including guidance strategy in four grades are studied; Whereafter, The thesis analyzes setting requirements and modes, installation angle, dimension and colour, display contents and arranging sequence and fonts of parking guidance sign, it is mainly studied that calculational method of distance between the variable message signs.In addition, this paper discusses construction, manage and maintain mechanism of PGIS. Existing investment patterns are presented, and questions are analyzed, then the guarantee scheme is put forward.
