GIS-based Urban Traffic Noise Simulate Information System

Noise pollution is one of three human world pollutions,while the traffic noise is the main sourc of the noise pollution. As a powerful tool for handling spatial information, GIS plays an important role in the supervising and controlling of urban traffic noise pollution.This thesis focuses on the how to build up the urban traffic noise environment management information system using the geography information system(GIS) techonlogy. The methord to construct the system is integrating the traffic noise simulating model into geography information system(GIS). The system can caculate the traffic noise in different conditions. The main processes of developing the urban traffic noise environment management system has used many GIS functions such as raster spatial analysis, grographic algebra and so on, with these models, we can analyze, evaluate urban traffic noise pollution rapidly, exactly and high-efficiently. We has analyze and evaluate the function of the system at the end of the thesis.
