Real Time Visualization System On The Numerical Calculation Of Diesel Combustion

It has become a highlight to research the combustion process in-cylinder for Internal-combustion engine, especially the method of numerical simulation can effectively forecast the complete performance of Internal-combustion engines, at the same time, the technology of visualization has a rapid development. Visualization translates the numerical results to graphics or images on the screen, that helps researchers and decision-makers to form a clear picture of the problem faced, hasten their understanding and deepen their insight. According to the idea of the Scientific Visualization, a real time visualization system on the numerical calculation of diesel combustion is developed with MVC architecture style, using the graphic interface programming tool Visual Basic to build the combustion of diesel engine in-cylinder graphics display plat. The plat connects the numerical simulation calculation system with the visualization software for real time data visualization work, the graphic display system takes the basic of human as the design route, from points of view both the user and the developer to analyse and design, finally, achieving the effect of 9 pictures real-time display, also through cooperating with the operation panel, under the parameters of the in-cylinder condition variety many figures such as flow field, pressure field, temperature field, component consistency field and so on can be attained. This system under the precondition of fully importing the macro programming technology is easy to use and can realize a goal of more human and automatic in the exertion process, with fast general intuitionistic displaying the visualization pictures translated from data.Practice results that the visualization system can save great manpower and material resources, displaying strong function in practice exertion, on the other hand, the design and development concept of the system can also have good illumination and reference effect on developing same software. Further speaking, it can modernize the science calculation tools and environment, consequently make the visage of the science research work changed radically.
