| Adapting the technology of geographic information system (GIS) into the roadlamp information management. By combining figures and data and providing a brand-new decision by visualizing the data, GIS technology greatly enhanced the roadlamp management.Combining the practice of the GIS of Dalian Roadlamp, This article is to study the application of the GIS technology in the roadlamp by Combined the GIS with Dalian Roadlamp. Firstly, after comparison, ArcGIS Engine module was used as the developing platform. At the same time, ArcSDE and SQL Sever were used to sort up and store massive data. The secondary development of the system was based on the using of the visual basic. Secondly, I clarify the target which GIS of Dalian Roadlamp aims to realize, analyze the basic theory and technology, which include COM and ComGIS, space data management, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Engine etc; Then considering the current situation of Dalian and the features of roadlamp management, I choose the system developing pattern, and use the systematic space database and property database as the basic condition to realize the function of GIS; Finally, I develop GIS of Dalian Roadlamp and realize the functions such as figure process, layer management, bidirectional search, data editor, analysis and statistic, input and print.At present, the system is running in the Dalian Roadlamp management department.The using result shows that the system is universal, transplantable, secure and extensible, and it has a nice interface. Users can use this system easily and conveniently. It can enhance the effectiveness of working and managing, reduce managing cost, provide credible decision making support, realize the share of the information resource.The innovative factor of this system is to follow closely the direction of the software industry, explore the application of GIS, create an information managing system for Dalian, and build the foundation for the application of GIS in the digital city construction.
