How to improve the dynamic performance and reduce the consume of the energy sources in a running vehicle is acute problem of the automobile, and it is a important way to reduce the dissipation of the energy source by improving the matching of the transmission system in the car.Several key problems in the optimal matching of the power transmission system of hydro-driver vehicle are discussed in this paper. At first a mathematical model of the power transmission system of hydro-driver vehicle are established in this paper. These models include engine model, hydraulic torque converter model, running resistance model and so on.A computational method on cooperating points of the engine and the hydraulic converter is presented after analyzing the characteristics of their cooperating performance. On this basis the computational method of dynamic performance of the vehicle and the economy of the fuel is studied by utilizing the model of the engine, the universal characteristics of engine and the model of transmission system, and which is verified by an example. At the same time according to the vehicle's performance requirements and characteristics of the power transmission system of hydrolytic driver vehicle , the evaluating targets of optimal matching are provided, and mathematical model of the power transmission system is established, and the calculating result matches the experiment result.
